Questioning Anyone Advertising Themselves as a Master Therapist
Skepticism from a guest author who became a Certified NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) Practitioner and has lots to say about its uselessness.

I discovered Adam Eason’s excellent work with a referral from Mark Davis. Over the years, Adam has lots of fascinating posts that express views that jive so well with mine. To convince him to let me repost his stories, I shared some of my Substack articles. He agreed that we had sometimes similar and sometimes complementary views that fit together so well.
In the case of this article, here is what caught my eye was that he expressed skepticism about becoming a “ therapist master,” based on his at one point earning a genuine Neurolinguistic Programming NLP Master Practitioner certificate.
I would never taken an NLP training, and was all the more less inclined when the Richard Bandler and John Grinder, the originators of NLP visited the MRI Brief Therapy Center where I was a member.
