Nonscientists at Groningen Declare That ADHD Does Not Exist!
Readers’ intelligence is insulted when authors announce they will systematically ignore scientific evidence and then dismiss what they call the “reification” of ADHD as a diagnosis.
Parents of children with ADHD will be deservedly outraged with these authors from the University of Groningen attacking the diagnosis of ADHD and the effectiveness of treatments and accommodations available to their children, without the authors offering any alternatives. The parents’ outrage can be more focused with some expert assistance in recognizing that they are dealing with abstract nonsense that does not even qualify as pseudoscience.
