I Was Issued a Summons for “Practicing Psychology With a Lapsed License”
Was the Maximum Lawman’s midnight text message for real—or a crime?
This is a true mystery story that is still in progress. My wife and I would be delighted if any readers could advise how to solve it and send whoever “dunnit” to jail.
It was the cold and rainy night of Thursday, December 27, 2022 in Edinburgh. My wife and I were in Europe for the first time since COVID, as well as since the savage effort to destroy my reputation that keeps escalating because of a single tweet on January 19, 2020. We rented an Airbnb in Edinburgh for the Hogmanay Festival. The apartment was well placed so we could get to almost anywhere we wanted on foot.
However, we had both come down with nasty versions of the RSV virus earlier in the trip, despite masking and being very cautious. We were repelled by the unmasked hordes of coughing, sickly-looking people that were everywhere we went. We retreated to bed early. Just before midnight, I awakened to this image flashing on my iPhone. I showed it to my wife. She asked
“From which region of hell did this man come?”
